Frequently asked questions

Direct answers about Dubljly: what it is, what it costs, which videos work, and whether your files are private.

What is Dubljly?

Dubljly is a tool that turns English lectures into a synchronized Arabic voice and adds a summary, key terms, an AI assistant and a quiz to every lecture.

How do I watch an English lecture in Arabic?

Paste a YouTube link on the home page and press Dub it, and you get the summary and terms within seconds while the Arabic voice is prepared.

Is Dubljly free?

Yes, the free plan includes three lectures a month with no card, and paid Student, Pro and Enterprise plans are there when you need more.

Which videos are supported?

Dubljly supports YouTube links and mp4, mov and mkv files up to 200 MB, with a length of up to 20 minutes, or 10 minutes on the free plan.

Which Arabic dialect and voice does Dubljly use?

Dubljly uses simplified Modern Standard Arabic with two Jordanian voices: Taim (male) and Sana (female).

Are technical terms translated?

No, technical terms stay in English by default, each with its Arabic meaning and the moment it appears in the lecture, and you can turn this option off.

Do you republish YouTube videos?

No, the original video plays from the YouTube player itself, and we add an Arabic audio track on top for personal study only.

Are my uploaded files private?

Yes, files you upload stay private to you, so they never appear in the library or in search engines, and only service admins see them when necessary.
